Be afraid

No, don't be scared. That picture below was me in the outpatient infusion center having my Tysabri infusion. I'm just a Derek Miller wanna be. Now that I have an iPhone, I can take pictures of myself. You'd think I'd try to make myself look a little better. :-)

That afternoon I left to go to Oregon with two friends for about 4 days. A fabulous time away. We've been friends since the 5th grade and it was pretty glorious to have the luxury of so much time together without all the families.

This week was the first week I felt really and truly "normal" again after my MS episode. Whatever normal is for me now. It was great in many ways. Things at my job are still really tough. It's really not working for me. I've started a plan to move on. I'd like to have something set up to go to by sometime this fall. I'm going to a career counseling sort of person this next week to get things going. It's time for me to start whatever "part two" of my career is, and I'm really looking forward to it. I'm thinking something non-profit like that will make a positive dent in the world.

And another thanks to my blogging friends who helped me get through the MS episode. I couldn't have done it without you.
